  • Lead urban design and masterplanning projects from conceptual design to implementation, ensuring that projects meet client objectives and requirements while creating innovative and sustainable communities.
  • Develop conceptual designs, layouts, and placemaking principles that enhance the quality and character of place.
  • Collaborate with clients, multidisciplinary teams, and stakeholders, including local authorities and government bodies, to ensure project success.
  • Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies and research to inform design decisions and project recommendations.
  • Work closely with planners, architects, engineers, and other professionals to integrate urban design principles.
  • Prepare and present design proposals, Design & Access Statements, and presentations to clients and stakeholders to communicate project vision and progress.
  • Stay informed of emerging trends, best practices, and innovations in the built environment while demonstrating self-motivation and interest in business development.


  • Professional Degree in Architecture, Planning, Urban design, or Landscape Architecture.
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in urban design, master planning, or related field.
  • Knowledge of RIBA design stages and public sector planning process stages for new development.
  • An up-to-date knowledge of current urban design, architecture and placemaking, practices, expecially in relation to the climate emergency.
  • Strong design skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Professional license or accreditation is desirable.
